HMW team members recently volunteered with regional home repair organization, Rebuild Upstate, on Saturday, August 17th to build a a much needed wheelchair ramp for a local family. HMW is dedicated to improving the communities we work in, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for good in and out of the water industry. 


We are excited to announce to promotion of David DePratter, P.E. to HMW's Chief Operating Officer (COO)! David is a leader in creating cost-effective solutions for our clients, maintaining business partnerships, managing staff, facilitating projects, and keeping HMW's operations running smoothly. Congratulations to David for all of his hard work! We appreciate you and can't wait to see you shine in your new role! 

HMW was happy to sponsor the NCCCMA Summer Conference in Wilmington, NC June 27th - 29th. We are proud to improve communities and build value in NC. Thanks to all of the City and County Managers who attended our social event on Friday! 

HMW was happy to sponsor the WEASC Blue Ridge Foothills District April Meeting in Seneca, SC. Vice President of Technical Services, Tom Vollmar, gave an impromptu tour of the Lake Keowee Water Treatment Plant upgrades that HMW designed in 2016.  WTP improvements included the construction of a new control/operations building which houses a water education center. Additionally, a MicroClor Onsite Hypochlorite Generation was installed along with a new chemical feed and sludge dewatering.
