Seneca (SC) Water Treatment Plant

General Description

Seneca Light & Water has completed construction of a new control/operations building with a water education center and upgrading the WTP to include MicroClor Onsite Chlorine Generation, a new chemical feed, and sludge handling.

Innovative Concepts

HMW developed rigorous equipment selection protocols for the Onsite Generation System and sludge press.  The project also included a large-bubble mixing system for the alum sludge holding tanks. The project won the Municipal Association of SC Public Works Award out of 25 submittals.
