General Description

Construction of a new 4 MGD water treatment plant on Lake Murray, raw water intake, elevated storage tank, and 7,940 LF of 20” raw water, 18,200 LF of 20” & 2,500 LF of 10” finished water transmission mains. The HMW Team provided design for all systems, preparation of plans and contract documents, and bid and contract administration. Project was funded by USDA-Rural Development.

Innovative Concepts

HMW provided value engineering and developed cost effective alternatives to the original plan in order to receive adequate funding to complete the project.
