General Description

HMW performed a disinfection contact time (CT) study to establish the daily calculation of Giardia and virus inactivation with the circular clearwell in service at the City of Kannapolis’ 15-MGD water treatment plant. The HMW Team provided preparation of the CT Study Plan, oversight of CT testing, calculations, and CT Study Report.

Innovative Concepts

The study was completed on-time and on-budget and hailed by the NC Department of Environmental Quality Control as a "great study" and "great report".
