Septage Receiving Station at Upper 18-Mile Creek Regional WWTF

Client: Pickens County
Status: Awarded: 2015 / Ongoing
Cost: $0.95 Million

General Description

The existing septage receiving station at the Upper 18-Mile Creek Regional WWTF was labor-intensive and inefficient at removing solids such as non-wovens and rocks, resulting in high maintenance costs for the facility’s influent pumps. HMW assisted Pickens County in securing a principal forgiveness loan and preparing design and contract documents for a new package septage receiving station.

Innovative Concepts

HMW used rigorous equipment selection protocols along with visits to equipment installations to select the septage receiving equipment.
