City of Seneca - Pump Station Replacement & Gravity Sewer Rehab

General Description

HMW provided preliminary and final engineering design services. Preliminary services included preparation of a PER, alternatives analysis, present worth analysis of selected alternatives, and funding application assistance.

Final design services include preparation of plans, specifications, and contract documents for the replacement of 7 pump stations and approximately 3,000 LF of force main. Pump station sizes range from 200 to 1,250 GPM. Wet wells will either be replaced with new or rehabilitated in place. Up to 45,400 LF of sanitary sewer line will also be replaced and/or rehabilitated as part of this project. Gravity sewer line sizes range from 4” to 10”.

Innovative Concepts

To reduce costs and avoid other potential issues, HMW designed an underwater force main that will cross the lake.
